Crewsa

Terms & Content Policy

These terms are an agreement between you and Crewsa, operated by an independent sole developer in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. By creating an account you accept them.

1. Who can use Crewsa

You must be 18 or older, have a US mobile number, and use Crewsa in the United States. One person, one account.

2. What Crewsa is

Crewsa is a marketplace. Creators book camera operators by the hour. Camera operators are independent contractors, not employees or agents of crewsa. They set their own rates, choose which jobs to accept, and use their own equipment. Crewsa does not direct, supervise or guarantee the work. The contract for a shoot is between the creator and the operator.

3. Payments

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Creators pay the hourly rate multiplied by the booked hours. Creators pay no service fee.
• Crewsa retains a 15% commission from the operator’s side of a completed shoot. The rest is paid out to the operator’s own Stripe account.
• Operators must complete Stripe’s identity and bank verification before any payout can be made.
• A scheduled booking cancelled before the shoot is refunded in full. An ASAP booking, where an operator is already on the way, keeps a $25 cancellation fee out of the refund. Disputes: email officialcrewsa@gmail.com.
• Operators are responsible for their own taxes and their own insurance.

4. Content policy — zero tolerance

You may not post, send or upload:

• Nudity, sexual content, or any sexual solicitation.
• Harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, or hate speech targeting anyone.
• Violent, graphic or disturbing material.
• Scams, fraud, fake listings, fake reviews, or attempts to take payment outside the app.
• Impersonation of another person or business.
• Spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Anyone else’s photos, video, music or other work that you do not own or have permission to use. When you upload a work sample you confirm that you own it or have the right to show it, and that anyone recognisable in it has agreed to appear.
• Anything illegal, or anything that invades someone’s privacy.

5. Reporting and blocking

You can report any message, review, listing or person from the “...” control in a chat, by pressing and holding a message, from the “...” on an operator’s profile, or from the Report link on a review. The same sheet lets you block that person, which hides their content from you and stops them contacting you. Blocks are reversible under Me > Blocked accounts. Reports go to us, not to the person you reported.

We review every report within 24 hours and may remove content, suspend an account, or ban a person permanently. We do not require you to contact the other person first.

6. Safety when you meet

Shoots happen in person at an address the creator supplies. Meet in a location you are comfortable with, tell someone where you will be, and stop and leave if you feel unsafe. Crewsa does not run background checks on its users and cannot guarantee anyone’s conduct.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant Crewsa a licence to store and display it inside the app for the purpose of running the service. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

8. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time from Me > Delete account in the app. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, without notice where the breach is serious.

9. Disclaimers and limits

Crewsa is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that a shoot will meet your expectations or that any user is who they claim to be. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid through Crewsa in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.
